We are seeking a creative and strategic <strong>Internal Communications Manager</strong> to tell our company&rsquo;s story, keep our Team Members informed, and manage our new internal experience platform, Workvivo. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff &amp; Director of Communications, this role serves as the heartbeat of our internal news cycle. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller who can find the &quot;hidden gems&quot; across the business, simplify complex updates, and generate content that matters to our team. While you will serve as the primary administrator and advocate for Workvivo, your core function is to ensure our workforce feels connected and informed.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Storytelling &amp; Content Generation:&nbsp;</strong>You will proactively build relationships across departments to uncover stories of employee success, innovation, and team culture. You will be the primary content engine for the organization, writing, editing, and producing a steady stream of articles, posts, and updates to ensure our feeds are always fresh.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Simplifying the Complex:</strong> You will take complex business updates, policies, or industry news and translate them into digestible, engaging content for a diverse workforce.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Platform Administration:</strong> You will serve as the primary administrator for Workvivo, managing user permissions, audience groups, and technical settings to ensure the platform runs smoothly.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Driving Adoption:</strong> You will encourage company-wide Workvivo usage by demonstrating value, helping leadership and staff understand how to use the platform effectively in their daily workflows to increase engagement.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Strategic Communications:&nbsp;</strong>You will plan and execute internal communication campaigns that align with broader company goals (e.g., benefits enrollment, strategic vision, culture initiatives).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Leadership Support:</strong> You will support executive leadership by drafting messages and coaching them on how to engage authentically with the workforce on digital channels.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Who you are:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Experienced:</strong> You have 3-5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or journalism. Experience launching or managing employee engagement platforms (Workvivo, Axonify, Yammer, etc.) is highly preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Storyteller:</strong> You have a nose for news. You know how to ask the right questions to get the story and can write in a way that captures attention.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Tech-Savvy:</strong> You are comfortable acting as the &quot;owner&quot; of a digital platform. You don&#39;t need to be an IT professional, but you need to be comfortable managing the backend of a SaaS tool.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Influential:</strong> You are gregarious and comfortable walking into a room, meeting new people, and influencing change.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Simplifier:</strong> You can look at a 10-page policy document and turn it into a 3-paragraph update that everyone understands.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Strategic:</strong> You balance your social side with the ability to sit down, focus, and plan long-term content strategies.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>About the Company:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Kalmbach Feeds offers the highest quality nutritional products for livestock, poultry, and companion animals.
