    "description": "<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Program Summary</span></span></p>\n<p>The Ministry Internship Program is offered to qualified male and female candidates who have discerned a call to ministry and who are pursuing a degree from an accredited seminary. The purpose of the program is to help students grow spiritually and clarify their sense of call while worshipping and serving in the local church.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The internship is designed so that students receive a substantial amount of relational and spiritual support from the congregation and its members while also gaining extensive experience in ministry.We anticipate that some Ministry Interns will in the future serve the Church as senior, associate or assistant pastors or as ministry directors, and many will become excellent candidates for future positions at any one of the churches in the growing Resound network.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work full time at the local church for a renewable one-year period in supervised ministry in a specific area, such as Community Groups, Pastoral Care, Young Professionals, College Ministry, Youth Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Church Administration, or Mission and Evangelism;</li>\n<li>Pursue an advanced degree such as a Master of Arts or a Master of Divinity through an accredited seminary;</li>\n<li>Participate in a series of modules focused on leadership, preaching, mission, pastoral care, cultural dynamics, and church renewal;</li>\n<li>Receive a monthly stipend and scholarship for seminary.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Application</span></span></p>\n<p><span>To apply for the Ministry Internship Program, we invite you to write four essays, with each essay no more than 1,000 words in content. The essays are to be in response to these four prompts/questions:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Describe your experience as a follower of Jesus, including the most significant spiritual events and influences in your life.</li>\n<li><span>In what ways has God gifted you for ministry, and what ministry experiences have confirmed your sense of call up to this point?</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Please give some examples of how you have navigated hardships and challenges in your life and ministry to this point.</span></li>\n<li><span>Describe your desire to participate in Resound and your sense of how you must grow and mature to become more effective as a ministry leader.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>In addition, please provide:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>a resume which lists your educational background and work experience</span></li>\n<li><span>an official transcript from college and seminary</span></li>\n<li><span>two letters of reference, preferably one from a professor and one from a church leader.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 65, 63); font-size: 12pt\">The application deadline for the Resound internship cohort commencing in September 2026 is </span><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 65, 63); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">May 1st, 2026.</span></span></p>",
