    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>A warm and busy family in NOHO is seeking a proactive, energetic, and organized Nanny/Housekeeper to assist with the care of their two school-age daughters, ages 6.5 and 11. This is a live-out, Monday through Friday role with a schedule of 12pm–8pm. The ideal candidate is upbeat, dependable, and able to balance childcare, household support, and coordination of the children’s busy schedules.</p>\n<p>The family is looking for someone with “pep-in-the-step” energy who genuinely enjoys engaging with school-age children, while also being compassionate, communicative, and appropriately firm when needed. A team-player mentality and strong communication with parents are extremely important in this role.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>School pick-ups and transportation/coordination of after-school activities</li>\n <li>Children’s laundry and keeping children’s rooms tidy and organized</li>\n <li>General housekeeping and upkeep of common areas</li>\n <li>Meal prep for the children, including weekday dinners and occasional dinners for mom and children together</li>\n <li>Preparing packed lunches for school as needed</li>\n <li>Assisting with organization of children’s rooms, closets, and kitchen areas</li>\n <li>Running occasional errands such as purchasing birthday gifts or small household items</li>\n <li>Maintaining smooth afternoon and evening routines for the children</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working with school-age children</li>\n <li>Warm, funny, engaging personality with the ability to set boundaries when necessary</li>\n <li>Highly punctual, organized, and dependable</li>\n <li>Comfortable collaborating and communicating regularly with parents</li>\n <li>Comfortable navigating NYC public transportation/subway system</li>\n <li>Swimming and driving skills are a plus</li>\n <li>Flexible and travel-friendly personality preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working with school-age children</li>\n <li>Warm, funny, engaging personality with the ability to set boundaries when necessary</li>\n <li>Highly punctual, organized, and dependable</li>\n <li>Comfortable collaborating and communicating regularly with parents</li>\n <li>Comfortable navigating NYC public transportation/subway system</li>\n <li>Swimming and driving skills are a plus</li>\n <li>Flexible and travel-friendly personality preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary and Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>$35–$40/hour DOE</li>\n <li>Medical stipend provided</li>\n <li>2 weeks paid vacation</li>\n <li>Family prefers fully vaccinated candidates, though COVID vaccination status is not a deal-breaker</li>\n</ul>",
