We also provide attractive working conditions and opportunities for career growth through professional development.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey.</p>\n<h2>Short Description</h2>\n<p>The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Follows established policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. </li>\n <li>Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management.</li>\n <li>and physicians. </li>\n <li>Applies Cooper core values. </li>\n <li>Other duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Kelemen 8 is a medical-surgical unit that cares for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, illnesses and disease processes. North and South 8 have telemetry capabilities for our patients. Kelemen 8 has frequent admissions and discharges. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Kelemen 8 can accept a total of 77 patients. The North side houses 37 patients, and the South side houses 36 patients. There are two negative pressure rooms with an anti-room. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>There is a pharmacist present on the unit to assist the RNs with medication questions/concerns. Multidisciplinary rounds occur every Monday through Friday. Rounds involve all aspects of the healthcare team, including the patient and family. </p>\n<h2>Education Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>License/Certification Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse);</li>\n <li>Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); </li>\n <li>Certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e., ACLS, NALS, PALS)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Min ($)</h2>USD $48.72\n<h2>Salary Max ($)</h2>USD $73.64",
