To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with outstanding attention to detail, great problem solving and communication skills.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;Reporting to the Maintenance Shop Manager, the Truck and Transport Mechanic will:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Diagnose problems, perform repairs, and provide preventative maintenance services for our transportation fleet</li><li>Perform repairs and services on various types of trucks, trailers, and reefer units&nbsp;</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance at prescribed intervals</li><li>Due diligence with inventory Management and Paperwork for parts and repair orders</li><li>Other task that arise withing a repair shop work environment</li></ul><p><strong>A successful candidate will:</strong></p><p>Have experience reading and understanding work orders, task procedures and technical manuals</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Always make safety a priority</li><li>Maintain a clean work area</li><li>Red Seal Journeyperson would be an asset; however, for the right candidate a 3<sup>rd</sup> or 4<sup>th</sup> year apprentices may be considered</li><li>Effective Communicator as well as a Team player</li></ul><p>If you&#39;re looking to join a supportive team environment with opportunities for personal and professional development, apply now and become part of our dynamic team.</p><p><strong>The Why</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Why Cooke?
