    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Researches, develops, and edits commercial vehicle diagnostic, Labor and repair information for incorporation into Commercial Vehicle Group product line. Reports to and receives direction from Senior Editor.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Under supervision of Senior Editor or Team Lead, use Mitchell1’s Content Management System to research and compile diagnostic, repair and other pertinent data, verify technical accuracy and consistency of information within established guidelines.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of latest commercial vehicle repair and diagnostics to determine information pertinent to writing diagnosis and repair procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintain established productivity standards balanced with an acceptable quality level.</li>\n <li>Work in a team environment, contributing toward achievement of organizational objectives communicated by Managing Senior Editor or Senior Editor.</li>\n <li>Provides customer service pertaining to diagnostic and repair data as required.</li>\n <li>Maintains knowledge of related competitive products.</li>\n <li>Suggests improvements and/or enhancements to CVG products in response to customer input or based on knowledge of user needs.</li>\n <li>Prepare and submits project status reports for each assignment as requested.</li>\n <li>Maintain professional and cooperative attitude within the CVG Editorial Department and all Mitchell1 departments.</li>\n <li>Achieve and maintain working knowledge of current commercial vehicle applications.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma</li>\n <li>AA degree or Vo-Tech certificate, with commercial vehicle diagnostic and repair emphasis preferred.</li>\n <li>ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certification a plus.</li>\n <li>ASE Automotive Truck certification a plus.</li>\n <li>Completion of at least one college level English writing course or equivalent.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Years of Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 1 year of recent hands-on commercial vehicle industry experience with an emphasis on diagnosis.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Other Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Sufficient commercial vehicle knowledge to determine information relevant to writing diagnosis and repair procedures.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of latest commercial vehicle systems, diagnosis and repair procedures.</li>\n <li>Understanding of OBD II and SAE J1939, J1587/1708 faut code standards and fault code structure.</li>\n <li>Must possess ability to prioritize and organize.</li>\n <li>Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with PC and Standard Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with minimal supervision.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated computer skills in the following programs and data formats:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Understanding of Extensible Markup Language (XML) markup language.</li>\n   <li>Microsoft word</li>\n   <li>Microsoft Excel</li>\n   <li>Microsoft Outlook</li>\n   <li>Microsoft Access</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>This is a full-time, in-office role located at our San Diego head<em>quarters:16067 Babcock Street, San Diego, </em>CA 92127</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Compensation: $22/hr - $24/hr (Based on experience and education)</strong></li>\n</ul>",
