    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Summary:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Application Development Leader is responsible for leading the design, development, and ongoing support of technology solutions that power mortgage origination, servicing, and corporate operations. This role ensures the successful delivery of scalable, compliant, and high-performing applications, including Loan Origination Systems (LOS), integrations, and customer-facing platforms. The position partners closely with business leaders to enhance borrower experience, optimize workflows, and support regulatory compliance within the mortgage industry.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Job functions are the primary duties and responsibilities an employee is expected to perform as part of their role. They outline the essential tasks, daily activities, and key areas of accountability required to successfully carry out the position. <strong>Content in red below will appear on all job descriptions.</strong></li><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software developers, business analysts and system administrators supporting mortgage technology platforms.&nbsp;</li><li>Oversee development and enhancement of key mortgage systems, including Loan Origination Systems (e.g., Encompass), point-of-sale platforms, and servicing integrations.&nbsp;</li><li>Partner with business stakeholders (Human Resources, Compliance, Operations) to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions that improve loan lifecycle efficiency.&nbsp;</li><li>Drive the application development roadmap aligned with business growth, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure applications comply with mortgage industry regulations and standards (e.g., TRID, RESPA, HMDA, data security and privacy requirements).&nbsp;</li><li>Manage and optimize system integrations between LOS, document vendors, and other third-party platforms.&nbsp;</li><li>Lead Agile development practices, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of enhancements and projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Establish and enforce coding standards, architecture best practices, and secure development processes.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor system performance, stability, and scalability&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with IT leadership on cloud strategy, data architecture, and enterprise system design.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage vendor relationships related to mortgage technology solutions and development tools.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide reporting and visibility into development initiatives, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership.&nbsp;</li><li>Supporting day-to-day tasks and cross-training in other areas for coverage as needed.</li><li>Ability to meet regular and reliable attendance.</li><li>Becomes/is an advocate of our culture and adheres to our core values.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Qualifications are the education, experience, skills, certifications, and abilities required for an individual to successfully perform the responsibilities of a position. They outline the minimum and preferred requirements needed for the role. <strong>Content in red below will appear on all job descriptions.</strong></li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred&nbsp;</li><li>5 years of experience in application development, with at least 1-3 years leading technology teams.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong understanding of mortgage processes, including origination, underwriting, closing, and servicing preferred</li><li>Experience with system integrations, APIs, and third-party vendor platforms commonly used in mortgage operations.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in modern development technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., .NET, Azure, SQL Server, APIs).&nbsp;</li><li>Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and DevOps practices.&nbsp;</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.</li><li>Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Wellness and Abilities:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">The majority of your time will be performed in a typical office space, either remotely and/or on-site.
