    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Under direction, the LPN Staff Educator provides instruction to the hospital staff, including health care providers and nonclinical employees. The LPN Staff Educator is responsible for assisting the RN Staff Developers with enacting training programs for organizational staff, that align with the organization&#39;s mission.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>&bull; Engages in hospital-wide educational programs and training activities to help the hospital develop and maintain a competent staff, enhance the quality of care, and implement and achieve its mission, goals, and objectives.</p><p>&bull; Assists with the coordination of education functions and services to meet the organization&#39;s current and future needs for efficiency and effectiveness.</p><p>&bull; Assists with the Education Department&#39;s functions and services, nursing orientation, in-service skills training, staff education and training, community education, continuing nursing education, continuing medical education for physicians, audiovisual and library resources.</p><p>&bull; Assists with designing, developing, and presenting learning experiences to improve performance, increase specific skill levels and effectiveness of the staff and facilitates changes.</p><p>&bull; Participates in the Education Department&#39;s continuing education programs and services implementing changes as needed.</p><p>&bull; Provides CPR instruction to staff and community and teaches others classes to employee and community as needed.</p><p>&bull; Assists in all aspects of training with appropriate age specific competencies for training staff.</p><p>&bull; Maintains a safe environment.</p><p>&bull; Provides for life support.</p><p>&bull; Acts as a patient advocate.</p><p>&bull; Participates in performance improvement.</p><p>&bull; Performs related work as required.</p><p>&bull; Communicates pertinent data to appropriate parties.</p><p>&bull; Maintains confidentiality.</p><p>&bull; Conducts himself/herself effectively in stressful situations.</p><p>&bull; Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.</p><p>*Employee must be both committed to and accountable for demonstrating supportiveness, etiquette, respect, vibrancy, integrity, communication, and excellence in service delivery by adhering to the behaviors specified in the Service Standards of Behavior.</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>Education&nbsp;</strong>- Certificate Accredited LPN Program Required</p><p><strong>Certifications, Licensures &amp; Training Required/Preferred</strong>: Basic Life Support (CPR) Required, LPN License Required</p><p><strong>Minimum Years of Experience Required:</strong></p><p>*5 years of experience Recent hospital experience and / or previous nursing practice experience as an LPN required.</p><p><strong>Additional Experience Preferred</strong></p><p>&bull; Current knowledge of clinical practice.</p><p>&bull; Ability to operate and handle many kinds of complex equipment.</p><p>&bull; Ability to demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current knowledge in caring for adolescent through geriatric patients.</p><p>&bull; Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.</p><p>&bull; ECG interpretation competent</p><p>&bull; ACLS and PALS certification</p><p>&bull; BLS Instructor competent.</p></div></div></div>\n",
