This role supports the Technical Design function across multiple product categories, ensuring each garment meets Tuckernuck’s quality, fit, and brand standards. The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years of experience in technical design or a closely related field, a strong eye for garment construction and fit, and the organizational drive to keep a complex, fast-moving product development process running without a hitch.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Core Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support the Technical Designer throughout all stages of product development — measuring samples, taking detailed fit notes, and assisting in communicating fit comments and pattern corrections to vendors. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prepare for fittings by organizing and steaming samples, reviewing prior fit corrections, and photographing garments for reference.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Own the full sample tracking process — receiving, logging, labeling, organizing, and maintaining visibility on all samples across development, fit, photo, and TOP stages.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Coordinate sample requests and shipments to and from vendors, ensuring timely delivery and returns; prepare daily outgoing shipments with proper documentation and tracking.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, and the Photo Studio to ensure photography requests are clearly communicated and fulfilled on schedule.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain accurate sample statuses in Airtable and Let’s Flo; add sample images to internal systems for tracking and presentation purposes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Attend weekly team meetings to stay aligned on sample needs, development milestones, and upcoming creative initiatives.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Minimum Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">1–3 years of experience in technical design, fashion design, product development, or a closely related role.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Bachelor’s degree in Technical Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and fit, with a genuine interest in the sample development process.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Excel; familiarity with PLM systems, Airtable, and Google Suite a plus.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Self-motivated and proactive; takes initiative and anticipates needs rather than waiting to be directed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and with vendor partners.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts quickly to shifting priorities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Problem-solver with a solutions-first mindset and a genuine sense of ownership over their work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Comfortable learning new software platforms quickly.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to lift, move, and transport sample boxes (up to 30 lbs).</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Compensation </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-size: 10pt\">Compensation for the role will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. The estimated annual compensation for this role is $</span><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-size: 10pt\">58,000-$62,500</span><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-size: 10pt\">; classified as full-time exempt and not eligible for overtime.
