    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:  </strong></p>\n<p>Works with Physician Network leadership, Physicians, Nurses and staff to develop, implement, train and maintain EMR for affiliated clinics.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Demonstrates through behavior Decatur Morgan Hospital’s mission, vision and values.</em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h1>Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions</h1>\n<p>1.       Train new employees on the EMR application</p>\n<p>2.       Train existing staff on any new application upgrades, form changes or changes related to Meaningful                   Use, Joint Commission or other regulatory requirements.</p>\n<p>3.       Maintain all current forms in the EMR</p>\n<p>4.       Make any form alterations in the EMR as requested by physicians/department managers</p>\n<p>5.       Insure the EMR meets all MIPS requirements.</p>\n<p>6.       Assist physicians/staff to use EMR to meet quality measures to avoid CMS penalties</p>\n<p>7.       Assist physicians/staff to use EMR to meet Meaningful Use to obtain any CMS incentives and/or avoid                CMS penalties.</p>\n<p>8.       Assist in the conversion of the EMR </p>\n<p>9.       Train the staff in the use of EMR and GPMS as it relates to ICD-10</p>\n<p>10.    Maintain detailed tracking and documentation of all change requests and training</p>\n<p>11.    Maintain detailed documentation of all attestation of CMS for MIPS</p>\n<p>12.    Work with vendors to assist with EMR issues</p>\n<p>13.    Run audit reports of user access and open document</p>\n<p>14.      Learn, build, implement and train any new EMR systems installed.</p>\n<p>15.      Assist Quality Team with Star improvements for ACO/MIPS reporting</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h1>Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: </h1>\n<p><strong>Education:  </strong>HS/GED required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Experience: </strong>5 years RN experience, as well as experience with interfaces and practice management systems required. Clinical experience required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills: </strong>Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions. Skill in writing and maintaining records and reports. Ability to communicate clearly. Strong computer skills and basic programming knowledge. Experience in teaching staff.</p>",
