Here, meaningful moments aren’t just created, they’re part of the experience.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Meet all established service standards</li>\n <li>Plan contracted future group events with clients</li>\n <li>Follow up on sales leads to attract and contract new event business</li>\n <li>Proactively call potential clients to generate new business leads</li>\n <li>Confirm details in person, via phone and written correspondence to clients in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Compile this information for distribution to clients and to Inn departments according to distribution guidelines</li>\n <li>Ensure that contract arrangements are being adhered to by both the Inn and by our clients</li>\n <li>Coordinate the ordering and correct billing of special rental equipment needed for events</li>\n <li>Coordinate all ordering and stocking of props and décor needed for events</li>\n <li>Ensure that appropriate deposits are in place prior to events’ realization</li>\n <li>Follow directions from supervisor</li>\n <li>Ensure high quality of menus sold and planned</li>\n <li>Complete daily paperwork in an accurate and timely manner</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and Health Department requirements</li>\n <li>Comply with all Company policies, procedures, and safety regulations</li>\n <li>Actively solicit and prospect for catering opportunities to meet or exceed monthly catering quotas</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Exceptional communication skills</li>\n <li>Minimum 1-2 years of previous event planning experience</li>\n <li>Previous hospitality & resort experience preferred</li>\n <li>Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to properly support assigned events</li>\n <li>Proven ability to function in high impact customer situations</li>\n <li>Ability to work with computer programs such as Word & Excel, experience with envision a plus</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively verbally in person, in writing and over the phone</li>\n <li>Ability to document customer arrangements in a timely fashion with extreme accuracy</li>\n <li>Must possess valid food handlers permits</li>\n <li>Must maintain clean, neat appearance and be organized</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#SuncadiaResort</p>",
