    "requisitionDescription": "<div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.28.20/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.28.20/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Position Summary</u></strong></p><p>The Laborer role is primarily responsible for keeping workspace and surrounding areas clean on the sawmill that require attention to detail, quality, order picking, physical labor, clean up, and yard maintenance.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to clearly communicate with your peers and leadership via radio in a noisy production setting</li><li>Provides cleaning throughout each workstation and inside/outside mill</li><li>Responsible for safe keeping with the flow of production</li><li>Wear appropriate protective equipment and follow all safety rules and regulations</li><li>Utilize hand tools and &nbsp;wheelbarrows while cleaning up sawmill debris and areas</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Education / Experience / Certification</u></strong></p><ul><li>Years of Experience Preferred: 1-3 years of experience with some type manufacturing, or construction or production line industry with preference in sawmills</li><li>Must be able to work in an indoor or outside manufacturing for 8&ndash;10-hour shift periods</li><li>Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds</li><li>Attention to detail</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Excellent problem solving and analytical skills required</li><li>Ability to work independently and in groups</li><li>High degree of attention to detail</li><li>Experience in Sawmill industry is a plus</li></ul><p><strong><u>Work setting</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>In-person (Required)</strong></li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong><u>Work Environment Manufacturing Plant Physical Demands</u></strong></p><p>The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical sawmill environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. Noise levels are moderate to high depending on the area of the mill. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. Lifting and physical activity is required for this position, must be able to move boards and wood pieces.
