    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>We are recruiting for a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Health and Safety Advisor</span> to join our team in support of our contract with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Yorkshire Water.</span> </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with<span> </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lanes Group, working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: </span>up to £45k depending on experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working hours:</span> Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, flexibility required for the role</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location: </span>Yorkshire Region</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Company vehicle / Car Allowance</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">24 days holiday + Bank holidays</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will be doing </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>Working closely with the Health and Safety managers and directors you will be responsible for providing training, independent advice, guidance, and support to operational staff across some of our main contracts based in the Yorkshire. </span><span>You will be focusing on delivering contractual agreements of the client and frontline support to operatives embedding good working practice and ensuring company policy and procedures are adhered to. You will also be required to keep the safety management system updated and drive adoption of a more Human Factors based approach in support of management HSEQ engagement.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Support managers in the monitoring and management across multi-discipline contracts, with specific focus on risk identification, management and control through site inspection and audit. Collaborate to deliver support, general safety advice and guidance on relevant company standards and safe working practices. Assist and advise on risk assessments, ensuring employee involvement and timely review.</span></li>\n<li><span>Work with the HSEQ department to implement the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Strategies and delivery plan.</span></li>\n<li><span>Support on the development, administration, and upkeep of the Safety Management Systems.</span></li>\n<li><span>Work collaboratively with the client and as part of the wider safety team to ensure efficient working and the reduction of travel by supporting managers within your geographical region.</span></li>\n<li><span>Support managers in the investigations into accidents, incidents, near misses across the service platforms are completed in a transparent and fair way, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions are identified and implemented.</span></li>\n<li><span>Support in the management of reporting requirements, ensuring all notification and report are sent in a timely manner for the service platform and appropriate and timely reports are produced covering key leading and lagging indicators and that these are supported by appropriate analysis to ensure both that the function is effective and tackling the most pressing issues and that management are held account for individual and platform performance.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">We are looking for individuals who have:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">NEBOSH Qualification or equivalent</span> </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Previous HSEQ experience ideally from a utilities background </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points</span></li>\n<li><span>Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to prioritise in a busy, changing environment</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficient in the writing of suitable and sufficient risk assessments and method statements</span></li>\n<li><span>Team player with an ability to build good working relationships across all levels of personnel</span><br></li>\n<li><span>A flexible approach to working </span><br></li>\n<li><span>Previous experience within the utilities / wastewater field would be highly advantageous. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Why Join Lanes Group?</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">At Lanes Group, nothing is more important than the health, safety, and well-being of our people and customers.
