With a prestigious four star rating from Charity Navigator, placing us in the top 3% of all nonprofits in the nation, we demonstrate responsible financial practices, unwavering accountability, and transparent operations.\n\n The Role \n\nPratham USA is seeking a Development Manager to lead fundraising strategy and execution for the NY Tri State Chapter. This role focuses on growing revenue, strengthening donor engagement, and supporting chapter based fundraising initiatives.\n\nThe Development Manager works closely with regional leadership, board members, and national teams to set priorities, track performance, and drive results. This is a highly collaborative role that also requires initiative, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.\n\n Impact Areas \n\n Fundraising Strategy and Revenue Growth \nLead planning and execution of chapter fundraising efforts, including the NYC Gala, salons, and campaigns \nSet and deliver against revenue targets and annual fundraising goals\n\n Donor Portfolio Management and Growth \nOversee donor portfolio strategy for mid level donors ($10,000–$20,000) in the NY TriState Chapter, including determining cultivation approaches, stewardship priorities, and growth strategies. \nStrengthen donor relationships and increase retention, engagement, and giving levels\n\n Chapter and Board Partnership \nPartner with chapter leadership and board members to strengthen fundraising effectiveness \nSupport engagement, planning, and ongoing development of board led initiatives\n\n Corporate and Community Engagement \nDevelop and expand corporate partnerships beyond sponsorships \nBuild relationships through employee engagement, volunteer initiatives, and strategic partnerships\n\n Data Analysis and Performance Tracking \nTrack and analyze fundraising performance across events, campaigns, and donor segments \nUse insights to inform strategy, improve outcomes, and guide decision making\n\n Cross Functional Collaboration and Special Initiatives \nCollaborate with development, marketing, and events teams to align fundraising efforts \nLead and support special campaigns and chapter initiatives\n\n Requirements\n\n Bachelor’s degree required\n\n 3–5+ years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience\n Demonstrated experience managing donor relationships and fundraising initiatives\n Experience working with or supporting volunteer boards or committees preferred\n\n Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities \n\n Strong project management and organizational skills\n Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n Ability to build relationships and engage diverse stakeholders\n Ability to work effectively with volunteers and board members\n Knowledge of fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and event based fundraising\n Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred\n Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace\n Self starter with strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities\n Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment\n Self starter with strong problem solving skills\n Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\n\n Benefits\n\nPratham USA has engaged Charity Search Group to manage the recruitment process for this position.
