The ideal candidate is dependable, dedicated, and a strong leader.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why work for H&K Group, Inc.? </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience</li>\n <li>100% Company-paid Health Benefits</li>\n <li>401(k) Savings and Investment Plan</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programs</li>\n <li>Additional training programs including on the job, online through H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and more</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs all work according to OSHA and H&K Safety policies</li>\n <li>Reads and interprets blueprints and job-related documents</li>\n <li>Records daily events in job diary</li>\n <li>Schedules materials, equipment, and work for the crew</li>\n <li>Analyzes crew SIPs to create site SIPs</li>\n <li>Obtains quantities from crews and prepares for billing process with PM</li>\n <li>Analyzes cost reports for production adjustments</li>\n <li>Accurately codes and controls onsite costs</li>\n <li>Conducts site meetings</li>\n <li>Attends job turnover meetings</li>\n <li>Communicates goals and purposes effectively</li>\n <li>Leads by example</li>\n <li>Influences and enforces company values, recognizes misalignments, and ensures compliance</li>\n <li>Understands and anticipates customer’s needs</li>\n <li>Understands business practices within the organization and the importance of repeat business</li>\n <li>Communicates with customer representatives and represents the company professionally</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>PennDot road construction experience</li>\n <li>Strong Verbal and Written Communications skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work with probability, statistical inference, and the fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills including internet, email, and documentation using digital cameras</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership</li>\n <li>Demonstrated dependability and punctuality</li>\n <li>Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed</li>\n <li>Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <strong>Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Two years of relevant PennDot road construction experience</li>\n <li>Supervisory or crew foreman experience</li>\n <li>OSHA or other relevant safety certifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regularly required to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Stand and walk </li>\n   <li>Use hands to finger, handle, feel</li>\n   <li>Reach with hands and arms</li>\n   <li>Talk or hear</li>\n   <li>Climb, balance, crawl, stoop, crouch, kneel, </li>\n   <li>Occasionally required to sit</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds </li>\n <li>Specific vision abilities: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Close</li>\n   <li>Distance</li>\n   <li>Color</li>\n   <li>Peripheral</li>\n   <li>Depth Perception</li>\n   <li>Ability to adjust focus</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions</li>\n <li>Occasionally exposed to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Moving mechanical parts</li>\n   <li>Fumes or airborne particles</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Noise level is usually moderate</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <strong>H&K Group, Inc.</strong> provides complete heavy civil contracting and construction materials solutions with safety, speed, quality, efficiency, and value.
