Global Furniture Group has an immediate career opportunity for a General Manager, Operations in the Cincinnati Area. In this role, you will be responsible for operations of the Distribution Center and the supervision of all Distribution Center employees.
Our General Manager will lead a staff of customer care members and warehouse team members and oversees responsibilities that include several key areas of our business:
Customer Service – managing a staff of Customer Care Representatives.
Vendor Relations – maintaining positive relationships with customers and logistics vendors.
General Operations – Inventory Control, Accounts Payable, HR, Facilities, and Warehousing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Overall client service, financial and operational responsibility Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable Manage inventory levels in accordance with sales demand Monitor warehouse team to include all inventory movement in and out of facility Responsible for accuracy of weekly product cycle counts Train, coach, develop, and encourage local customer care team Evaluate/oversee all local vendor relationships for overall best value Work with local sales team to create best possible customer experience Some Human Resources responsibilities Education/Experience
Sales oriented, with a customer-driven mindset Self-motivated, goal oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment Demonstrated ability to manage all financial and operational management aspects of a multimillion-dollar business Strong computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Minimum of 6-10 years of related experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or military experience. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
