    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Position Summary</span></p>\n<p>We are seeking an <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical CAD Technician / Designer</span> to support the development of construction drawings from <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Revit-based models</span> for building and project coordination. This role is primarily focused on <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">2D drawing production</span>, including annotating, dimensioning, sheet setup, and construction document coordination using views generated from Revit models.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a strong fit for someone with solid electrical drafting and documentation skills who may <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">not</span> have extensive 3D modeling experience. The primary responsibility is to help convert model content into clear, accurate, well-organized drawing sheets suitable for internal review, coordination, and construction use.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and update <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">2D electrical drawings</span> from Revit-generated views for construction documentation and coordination.</li>\n<li>Add <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">annotations, dimensions, notes, callouts, detail references, legends, schedules, and sheet organization</span> to support drawing completeness and readability.</li>\n<li>Assist with the production of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">floor plans, power plans, lighting plans, low-voltage plans, one-lines, risers, details, and enlarged views</span>.</li>\n<li>Organize drawing sheets, view layouts, title blocks, and plotting sets in accordance with company and client standards.</li>\n<li>Review drawing sets for <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">clarity, consistency, completeness, and coordination</span> with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines.</li>\n<li>Incorporate markups from engineers and project managers accurately and on schedule.</li>\n<li>Support quality control efforts by checking dimensions, notes, sheet references, naming conventions, and document standards.</li>\n<li>Help maintain CAD/Revit standards, templates, symbols, and drafting best practices.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with engineers and designers to resolve drafting and documentation issues.</li>\n<li>Assist with project deliverables at multiple project milestones.</li>\n<li>Prepare PDFs, plotting packages, and issued drawing sets for internal and external distribution.</li>\n<li>Track revisions and maintain organized project files.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">What This Role Is Not</span></p>\n<p>This position is <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">not primarily a 3D modeling role</span>. While familiarity with Revit is important, the main focus is on:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>producing clean, coordinated drawing sheets,</li>\n<li>annotating and dimensioning model-based views,</li>\n<li>and supporting construction documentation workflows.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CAD drafting, design technology, electrical drafting, or a related field</span>.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">2+ years</span> of experience in electrical drafting/design support for AEC projects preferred.</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Revit</span> and/or <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">AutoCAD</span> in a building design environment.</li>\n<li>Experience producing <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">electrical construction documents</span> or coordinated drawing sets.</li>\n<li>Understanding of common electrical drawing content, such as lighting, power, panel schedules, symbols, and basic one-line concepts.</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and document quality.</li>\n<li>Ability to follow redlines, standards, and project instructions accurately.</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a team environment.</li>\n<li>Clear written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience supporting <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">building systems</span> projects in commercial, institutional, industrial, multifamily, healthcare, or education markets.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">sheet setup, view referencing, annotations, schedules, and documentation workflows in Revit</span>.</li>\n<li>Exposure to interdisciplinary coordination in an architecture/engineering environment.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of company or client CAD/BIM standards.</li>\n<li>Experience with Bluebeam or similar markup/review tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Technical Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Revit</li>\n<li>AutoCAD</li>\n<li>Microsoft Office</li>\n<li>Bluebeam Revu or similar PDF/markup software</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of BIM/document coordination workflows</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Success in This Role Looks Like</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drawing sets are <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">accurate, readable, and well-coordinated</span>.</li>\n<li>Engineer markups are incorporated efficiently and correctly.</li>\n<li>Sheets are organized and issued on time.</li>\n<li>Documentation quality improves project coordination and reduces rework.</li>\n<li>Team members can rely on this role to keep production moving smoothly from model to deliverable.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Work Environment</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Primarily office or hybrid work environment.</li>\n<li>May involve extended computer use and periodic overtime to support project deadlines.</li>\n<li>Occasional attendance at coordination meetings may be required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Why Join Us</span></p>\n<p>At Ayoroa Simmons, you will work alongside experienced BIM engineers and designers on meaningful projects while continuing to build your technical documentation skills.
