Product management of a dedicated product line. Prepares marketing support program for a specific product, product line, or product area. Coordinates implementation with technical services and field sales organization. Provides Marketing assistance to field personnel and customers.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Key marketing interface with R&D, Operations and QA/RA</li>\n <li>Prepares and coordinates marketing support programs.  Contribute to planning and creation of advertising and promotional materials.  Write technical bulletins and newsletters.</li>\n <li>Keeps informed about developments in medical instrumentation/diagnostic industry as they apply to the company's future marketing plans</li>\n <li>Provides sales technical training for sales staff. Works with field sales staff to develop training requirements and sales tools required to introduce new products and sales campaigns for all or part of product line.  Makes presentations to customers.</li>\n <li>Understands all maintenance, performance and advantages of Werfen products</li>\n <li>Understands technical aspects of Werfen and competitive products</li>\n <li>Monitors field test and marketing introduction programs</li>\n <li>Maintains regular communications with technical services on problems with instruments and reagents within the product line</li>\n <li>Interfaces with all levels of management and to independently resolve conflicts/problems with company peers</li>\n <li>Manages and drives internal projects with minimal supervision</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Budget Managed (if applicable):</strong> N/A</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Internal Networking/Key Relationships</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>To be determined based on department needs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills & Capabilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Business Acumen</li>\n <li>Customer Focus</li>\n <li>Organizational Agility</li>\n <li>Peer Relationships</li>\n <li>Planning Skills</li>\n <li>Presentation Skills</li>\n <li>Drive for Results</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge in Life Sciences:  Medical Technology, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in biological science, business administration or marketing discipline, or equivalent.  Prior experience in junior marketing product management positions</li>\n <li>Minimum three years' experience in sales and/or marketing within the healthcare industry</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>International Mobility:</strong>  No</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Travel Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Approximately 25% of time</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The annual base salary range for this role is currently $115,000 range to $140,000 range. Individual employee compensation will ultimately depend on factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and particular business needs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan retirement benefits with an employer match, as well as paid vacation and sick leave.
