Description

Overview LMI is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support activities related to ERP modernization as part of a larger Army ERP transition and convergence program, the Enterprise Business System – Convergence (EBS-C) program. They will work closely with system engineers, cybersecurity, test, and technical counterparts to develop and manage cloud infrastructure for the program. They will advise and support the government on how to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and applications. Note: Work location is Fort Belvoir, VA. Some telework is allowed based on client approvals. LMI is a new breed of digital solutions provider dedicated to accelerating government impact with innovation and speed. Responsibilities Responsible for evaluating cloud-based technical solutions/designs in accordance with client requirements Provide expertise to monitor the designing and engineering of infrastructure and applications to the Cloud Responsible for client’s overall cloud experience, including being the engineering point-of-contact for resolving reported performance or delivery issues Responsible for ensuring that all vendor cloud solutions comply with industry and Government-mandated security protocols, controls, and best-practices Work closely with Cybersecurity resources to document controls, support accreditation, Interim Authorization to Test (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation and provide metrics to comply with audits Responsible for escalating issues, problems, risks, and constraints to the appropriate levels for clarification and resolution Administer and monitor IL4/IL5/IL6 cloud accounts and performance levels Build parent and child accounts or organizations within an IL4/IL5/IL6 environment Establish and maintain a working knowledge of AWS & Azure products and capabilities Perform unsupervised, hands-on work in DoD based cloud environments Work independently within team environments to set up and maintain cloud architectures Manage multiple and competing customer priorities with little supervision Develop High Availability and Disaster Recovery processes in accordance with government and industry guidelines Help establish DevSecOps Pipelines within the Gov Cloud Framework Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, economics, or related technical discipline Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, executing, and supporting AWS or Azure environments Working knowledge of AWS & Azure capabilities Recent hands-on experience using AWS and Azure products Experience with maintaining hybrid cloud solutions Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance Desired Qualifications Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and tools Master’s degree in related field Top Secret Security Clearance AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or similar certification(s) Azure Administrator Associate Certification Experience working in IL6 or equivalent secure environments Experience with security requirements in a federal IT environment, including FedRAMP-certified providers and FISMA requirements for acquiring an ATO Experience with Agile and containerization methodologies or strategies Experience with Cross-Domain Solutions (IL5 / IL6) Target salary range: $140,000 - 180,000 Disclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
