Today, that tradition continues as we transform our organization&#39;s portfolio, expand our core ceramic technologies, explore capabilities beyond traditional areas, and challenge ourselves to develop solutions and services that leverage technology to address social issues while contributing to a sustainable society.</p><p><strong>Summary:</strong></p><p>The Material Handler is responsible for supporting warehouse and manufacturing operations by operating powered industrial trucks, performing put-away and pulling functions, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This third-shift role (Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM-6:00 AM) requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring schedule compliance, proper material handling, and adherence to safety standards across multiple warehouse and production areas.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Operate various Powered Industrial Trucks and other powered material moving equipment, including box trucks; maintain certification and notify supervisor prior to certification expiration.</li><li>Carry out put-away and pulling functions based on customer orders, ensuring the correct products are selected for each order item.</li><li>Load and unload incoming, outbound trucks, and sea containers.</li><li>Issue work order-based components and supplies to Repackaging and Production.</li><li>Break down mixed pallets as applicable.</li><li>Pull and assist with put-away of replenishments, ensuring the correct products and quantities are pulled per the transfer order.</li><li>Record all inventory transactions in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>Maintain first-in/first-out supply route.</li><li>Distribute production schedules for specific processes to ensure schedule compliance and communicate any deviations or abnormalities from the plan to the supervisor and appropriate levels.</li><li>Provide emergency support to Aftermarket, Repackaging, Shipping, and Production assembly as required.</li><li>Support operations in Aftermarket, Logistics, and both WV KD warehouses.</li><li>Organize and secure stored materials such as bales and super sacks.</li><li>Conduct daily inspections of Powered Industrial Trucks and rack areas to ensure suitable working conditions and forklift equipment.</li><li>Complete Powered Industrial Truck operator training, maintain certification, and notify supervisor prior to certification expiration.</li><li>Report any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S standards.</li><li>Promptly report any abnormalities to management.</li><li>Complete other duties as assigned by management.</li><li>Adhere to all company policies and procedures, which include IATF, ISO, ISMS, TISAX, and Safety-related policies.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Must have a valid driver&#39;s license.</li><li>Forklift truck certification required (within one month of hire).</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.</li><li>Effective communication and excellent teamwork skills.</li><li>Basic math skills with the ability to read labels and numbers.</li><li>Able to perform data entry as required.</li><li>Able to follow established procedures.</li><li>Able to operate in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Able to operate forklift trucks at high heights.</li><li>Vocational or technical certification preferred.</li><li>Manufacturing or inventory/warehouse experience preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Able to see and hear (correctable).</li><li>Able to communicate verbally.</li><li>Safety shoes and hi-vis required.</li><li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.</li><li>Able to lift 51-75 lbs. with assistance.</li></ul><p><strong>Potential Hazards:</strong></p><ul><li>Hazards associated with business operations.</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Comprehensive Health Benefits:</strong> Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.</li><li><strong>Financial Security:</strong> Short-term and long-term disability coverage.</li><li><strong>Retirement Savings:</strong> 401(k) plan with a generous company match of up to 6%.</li><li><strong>Time Off:</strong> Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and holidays.</li><li><strong>Work-Life Balance:</strong> Paid maternity and paternity leave.</li><li><strong>And much more!</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity Statement:</strong></p><p>Niterra is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
