          "text": "<p>Our Housekeeping and Laundry Aides know this is about more than cleaning — it’s about creating a welcoming, safe environment where Residents feel comfortable and cared for. Every task you do helps support dignity and quality of life.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>If you were working with us as a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide, here are some of the things you would have done last week:</p><ul><li>Performed light cleaning duties in Residents’ households, including dusting furniture, mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning wash basins, mirrors, showers, and tubs, and safely disposing of garbage from Residents’ rooms</li><li>Cleaned public and high-traffic areas by mopping and vacuuming floors, dusting surfaces, washing windows, and emptying trash containers</li><li>Completed cleaning of designated areas in line with established procedures, daily routines, and hygiene requirements for both morning and evening shifts</li><li>Operated housekeeping and laundry equipment safely and effectively</li><li>Provided efficient, courteous, and respectful service to Residents at all times</li><li>Followed WHMIS legislation and safe handling procedures for all chemicals used within the department</li><li>Worked cooperatively with other departments to support housekeeping and laundry operations</li><li>Followed established routines and direction from the Housekeeping Manager</li><li>And supported your team as needed.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p>When you apply, if you have your credentials, we will try our best to reach out to you within the week (hopefully within a few days).
