This role monitors performance and adherence to department policies and procedures, ensures timely billing, and maintains compliance with Medicare regulations. The Manager will lead a team of accounts receivable billers, maintain account receivable reports, train and provide day-to-day directions to the team.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Essential Functions and Skills</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Collaborates with the Director of Revenue Cycle Management to develop strategies to maximize efficiency and performance.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensures compliance with all AR department policies and procedures.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provides leadership, support, and guidance to the Medicare and Commercial Insurance A/R team.</li>\r\n\t<li>Develop and implement processes to improve revenue collection and financial reporting.</li>\r\n\t<li>Prepare monthly billing and account receivable reports.</li>\r\n\t<li>Monitor AR aging reports,&nbsp;analyzing trends in collection effectiveness, billing errors, and denial patterns to identify areas for improvement.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains complete and accurate billing and accounts receivable records.</li>\r\n\t<li>Oversee month end close and year end closing processes for the Medicare/Commercial billing team.</li>\r\n\t<li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing issues and streamline processes.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assists with revenue collection by monitoring accounts receivables and performing billing functions as necessary.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations governing Medicare and Medicaid billing for hospice care, including timely submission and correction of claims.</li>\r\n\t<li>Responsible for maintaining compliance with all HIPAA regulations and requirements.
