Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment provide psychoeducation, mental health counseling and support, skill building and coping strategies that enables children to gain mastery over challenges and flourish developmentally.&nbsp;\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nResponsibilities:&nbsp;\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tProvide individualized services, including counseling to children and families in the home/community&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tProvide Intensive Interventions, Crisis Avoidance, and Intermediate Term Crisis Management, and/or Skill Building as required in child&rsquo;s treatment plan&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tProvide crisis intervention and develop crisis management plan&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tCoordinate care with schools and other systems impacting the child and family&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tInstruct clients on behavior modification techniques in the school setting&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tConduct intensive outreach to client and family&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tAssess family strengths and needs&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tFacilitate service delivery in accordance with family treatment plan&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tMust become fully knowledgeable of the mental health resources in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tCoordinate treatment plans and collaborate with service providers and community partners&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tMaintain complete case management records, data collection and documentation as required by the program and according to Medicaid requirements&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tBecome trained in and execute evidence-based models where required&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tOther duties as assigned by the Program Director&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nQualifications:&nbsp;\\n\\n\\n\\tBachelor&rsquo;s Degree required and certification in an Evidence Based Practice consistent with CPST or BA with three years applicable experience in children&rsquo;s mental health, addiction, foster case/child welfare/juvenile justice or related human services field\\n\\tMaster&rsquo;s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related human services field, plus one year of applicable experience preferred\\n\\t\\n\\tFirm understanding of racial inequity, strength-based work, child and youth development, attachment, trauma, and family dynamics&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tDemonstrated ability to work with and engage hard-to-reach populations as well as families and youth impacted by trauma, poverty, complex stressors, violence, mental health, etc.&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tExperience providing community and home-based services from a culturally competent and trauma-informed approach&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tAbility to navigate and support families effectively through crises&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tExcellent verbal, written and technology skills required&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tAbility to be a proactive and creative team player is a must&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tStrong organization and time management skills is a must&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tProven track record of effectively working autonomously is a must&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tComfortable traveling to and working in families&rsquo; homes and communities&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tBilingual skills in English/Spanish, English/Cantonese or English/Mandarin a plus&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n\\n\\t\\n\\tExperience with young children (0 - 5 years) or domestic violence or with adolescents favorable.&nbsp;\\n\\t\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nWork Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, flexible schedule with late afternoon hours required, 35 hours per week&nbsp;\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nWe are committed to building a diverse and inclusive community.
