This opportunity is within an inclusive special education classroom, ensuring each child gets the attention they deserve. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-time: <strong>40 hours per week, Monday–Friday</strong>, following our daycare calendar.</li>\n <li>Competitive rate of pay: <strong>$17.50 per hour</strong>.</li>\n <li>Racker offers benefits including tuition assistance, health insurance, and a 20% discount on childcare services for children and grandchildren of full-time staff. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Co-teach and co-plan under the lead of the Special Education Teacher and in collaboration with other Daycare Teachers using assigned curriculum. </li>\n <li>Provide high quality care and instruction to all students through fun age and developmentally appropriate activities.</li>\n <li>Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. </li>\n <li>Actively participate in team meetings, sharing educational insights and problem-solving collaboratively. </li>\n <li>Maintain open communication with families, keeping them informed and supported. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with the team to utilize diverse techniques and perspectives in program design. </li>\n <li>Keep accurate records of children’s progress and attendance, and prepare reports for parent conferences. </li>\n <li>Attend required training sessions, ensuring compliance with OCFS regulations and program requirements. </li>\n <li>And other duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Bring your creativity, energy, and passion!</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education (one of the following):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or related field  <strong>OR</strong></li>\n <li>Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) and 1 year related experience, <strong>OR</strong></li>\n <li>9 College credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field with a plan of study to get to CDA or Associate Degree and 2 years of experience related to caring for children.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Capability</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to physically assist children to participate in the program; ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds; ability to engage in repetitive movements such as sitting/kneeling on floor, bending and stooping; ability to move quickly to attend to a running child.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong> Be part of a supportive and innovative environment where your contributions directly impact the growth and happiness of children and their families.
