    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>POSITION PURPOSE:</strong></span></p><p><span>Under the general supervision of the Dining Services Manager, the part-time Dining Services Associate will perform various tasks including the preparation and cooking of food, serving and cleaning/sanitation which supports the operations of a large-scale food service operation.</span></p><p><strong>GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: &nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li><span>Wash, scrape and deliver dishes</span></li><li><span>Clean and sanitize tables and other surfaces</span></li><li><span>Serve food</span></li><li><span>Prepare hot and cold food including cooking and cutting</span></li><li><span>Restock food</span></li><li><span>May perform cashiering and cash handling duties</span></li><li><span>Respond to customer inquiries or problems in a courteous manner</span></li><li><span>Assist with special event meals</span></li><li><span>Demonstrate civil and respectful interactions with others</span></li><li><span>Dress in proper work attire per department guidelines</span></li><li><span>Provide EXCEPTIONAL customer service</span></li><li><span>Must be dependable and reliable</span></li><li><span>Perform other duties as assigned</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li><span>Excellent customer service; interpersonal and good communication skills required</span></li><li><span>Ability to lift up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.)</span></li><li><span>Demonstrate commitment to EXCEPTIONAL customer service&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Must be a motivated self-starter and able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision</span></li><li><span>Good communication skills (verbal and written) and be positive and respectful</span></li><li><span>Must possess a Food Handler card or obtain within 30 days of hire.</span></li><li><p><span>Must pass a background check.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p><strong>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:</strong><br><u>Required:</u></p><ul><li><span>Current Texas Food Handler Card</span></li><li><p><span>Must be able to communicate effectively, orally, in English</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p><ul><li><span>Variances from regular working hours may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position including flexible shifts between 5:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to move up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.</span></li><li><span>Busy working environment with numerous interruptions.</span></li><li><span>Evenings and weekends may be required.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>SALARY:</strong> &nbsp;$10. per hour / up to 19 hours per week</p><p>&nbsp;</p>",
