font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Role Responsibilities</span> <br><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates by reviewing drawings, specifications, and related tender documentation.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Identify risks, opportunities, and gaps within tender documents to maximise commercial advantage.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Source and obtain competitive quotations from subcontractors and suppliers; maintain and update an accurate cost database.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Analyse and evaluate subcontractor and supplier packages, including risk assessments and value engineering        opportunities.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Collaborate with the Quantity Surveying team during pre-contract negotiations.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Liaise with the Chief Estimator and senior management on contractual matters, ensuring all submissions and deadlines are met.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Work closely with the commercial and project teams to agree budgets prior to project handover.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Manage and control preliminary budgets throughout the tender process.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Build and maintain strong client relationships during the tender and negotiation stages.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Compile, analyse, and maintain cost data and benchmarking reports.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and relevant regulatory or industry changes.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar estimating or commercial role within the construction industry.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">• Strong knowledge of construction methods, outputs, and current labour, plant and material costs.</span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
