The Auto Body Technician is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodies and parts in accordance with factory and dealer specifications. Hourly pay range includes Tech&#39;s from level I to III</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions: &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Examine&nbsp;vehicles, assess exterior damage, and generate repair estimates for customers</li><li>Order necessary parts and ensure repairs meet OEM specifications. Ensure parts and components are assembled per instructions for proper appearance and function.</li><li>&nbsp;Reshape panels with minor damage, complete additional repairs, and repaint repaired vehicles as needed.</li><li>Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.</li><li>Accurately perform all repair procedures according to factory specifications and company policies within a reasonable time frame and with a quality of work that exceeds customer expectations.</li><li>Maintaining a clean, professional, and safe working environment.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Manual dexterity</li><li>Basic computer knowledge</li><li>Skilled in light hand tools, shop tools and shop machinery</li><li>Skilled in analyzing and interpreting measuring data</li><li>Effective time management skills</li><li>Strict adherence to safety standards, procedures, and protocols.</li><li>Detail oriented with a positive, can-do attitude</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Automotive Body Shop</p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>None</p><p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear.
