The duties include managing providers schedules providing access to patients, scheduling, rescheduling and canceling appointments, contact patients to schedule appointments. &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Position Summary:</span></strong></p><p>&nbsp;With a <strong>Quality</strong>, <strong>Customer First</strong>, and <strong>Compassionate</strong> approach, the Medical Assistant - Patient Access Specialist will:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Provides proper triage for patients. &nbsp;</li><li>Monitoring and regulating schedules and walk-in patients.</li><li>Answers, screen phone calls, provides information and schedule, patients appointments in the HER system.</li><li>Team based Care: Clinical-collaboration- works in collaboration with medical, front desk, providers, clinical staff, and patients to promote access to appropriate care in the goal of enhancing patient care.</li><li>Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues in other departments.</li><li>Monitors, maintains, and provides appropriate follow-up on schedules contacting patients due for a visit when a cancellation occurs.</li><li>Alerting other departments teams in the event of schedule changes and emergencies.</li><li>Assisting and searching for available appointments to fulfill access care to patients in timely manner.</li><li>Compiling and analyzing patient needs to develop more effective patient care and prevent delays.</li><li>Outreach to patients who may need to schedule an appointment.</li><li>Contact patients to remind them about their appointment to confirm and/or cancel appointments, to avoid no shows.</li><li>Cancel and reschedule appointments.</li><li>Manage templates for day-to-day edits and reschedules.</li><li>Contribute to the smooth operation of practice.</li><li>Returns calls to patients in a timely manner and places outgoing calls as indicated by Providers. &nbsp;</li><li>Ensures patient visit is more efficient by identifying:&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 1.
