    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold\">Main Function:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">The Industrial Nurse is responsible for providing medical care to employees across the Group while assisting in the implementation of health programmes across the Group.  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Providing immediate medical care and first aid to employees who sustain injuries or fall ill on the job.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records for all employees and ensure compliance with privacy laws.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Supporting the Group Manager- Health &amp; Well-Being with all patient health care matters as directed including clinics and stock management.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Providing guidance and support to injured or ill employees Group wide.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Collaborating with external healthcare providers and specialists to ensure employees receive appropriate medical care and treatment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Participating in health education and training programs to employees on topics such as injury prevention, first aid, proper ergonomics, personal protective equipment, food handling, nutrition, managing NCDs and mental health management.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Conducting health assessments and screenings to identify potential health risks and hazards in the workplace.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Participating in developing and implementing employee wellness programs aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being in the workplace.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Participating in development and implementation of health and safety programs, policies, and procedures to promote a safe working environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Conducting regular workplace inspections to identify potential health and safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Providing counseling to employees on health, family life, family planning, and psychosomatic stress-related problems and following up on employees to evaluate effectiveness of counseling plan for behaviour changes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Attending seminars and workshops to keep abreast of developments in the Industrial Nursing field</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold\">Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills, Experience:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Senior Registered Nurse designation or equivalent professional qualification with special training in Public Health and Industrial Nursing.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in general nursing with Industrial Nursing experience (preferred)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Proficiency in the use of medical instruments and equipment for diagnostic, monitoring and other applications for the efficient delivery of medical services to employees.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Ability to provide provisional diagnosis and make decisions in emergencies.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Sound knowledge of computer applications.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Ability to interview and counsel employees, particularly in regards to health and wellness issues and practices</span><br><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Competencies:</span> </span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills to identify and address potential health and safety risks.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and external healthcare providers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Proficiency in using medical equipment and tools for conducting health assessments and screenings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Familiarity with electronic health record systems and other healthcare software.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information with discretion.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Effective problem-solving skills to resolve workplace health and safety issues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Knowledge of emergency response and first aid procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.</span></li>\n</ul>",
