This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of daily inventory activities, including receiving, put‑away, picking, kitting, shipping, cycle counting, and ERP‑driven material transactions. The specialist supports production, engineering, and customer‑facing teams by ensuring timely, precise material flow and acts as the primary backup for shipping and fulfillment operations. The position reports to the Senior Materials Manager and according to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as non-exempt.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Major Job Accountabilities</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Receiving &amp; Incoming Material Control</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Process and verify incoming materials, ensuring quantities match packing lists and ERP requirements</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Inspect materials for damage and verify against purchase orders; escalate discrepancies to Buyers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Record all receipts, lot/serial data, and inspections in <strong>IFS Cloud</strong> with high accuracy.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Inventory Accuracy, Traceability &amp; ERP Expertise</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serve as the <strong>IFS Cloud super‑user</strong> for warehouse operations, ensuring correct, timely, and compliant transactions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform cycle counts, location audits, and replenishments; document results in the ERP system</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Audit historical material movements to identify root causes of variances and propose corrective actions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain accurate bin locations, labeling, and traceability for high‑value and serialized components.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Material Handling, Picking &amp; Production Support</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Pick, stage, and kit materials for production shop orders, engineering builds, and service requirements</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure timely material availability to support production schedules and engineering priorities.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Shipping, Crating &amp; Outbound Logistics</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Act as the primary contact for shipping operations, including domestic and international shipments</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare documentation, labels, and certifications required for outbound shipments</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure packaging meets quality and ESD‑safe handling standards for sensitive electronic instruments.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Continuous Improvement &amp; Leadership</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead process improvements in warehouse layout, material flow, and ERP data integrity</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Train team members on ERP transactions, inventory best practices, and handling procedures</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and subject‑matter expertise</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate cross‑functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High school diploma or GED required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum <strong>5 years of warehouse, receiving, or inventory‑control experience</strong> in high‑tech, electronics, aerospace, or similar precision‑driven environments</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with <strong>IFS Cloud ERP</strong> strongly preferred; advanced ERP proficiency required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prior experience in ISO9001 or similar regulated environments.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>What You Bring to the Table</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and regular attendance is required.
