We are seeking a HR Generalist will work with Corporate HR and field locations with a wide variety HR needs as they arise. As part of the Corporate HR Team, this position will help foster and further build a culture relating to our Fundamental Values, deeply rooted in excellence, honesty, fairness, respect, and teamwork. The HR Generalist will help the HR team continue transforming our services to the business by generating insights, identifying needs, and translating those needs into actionable practices. Working alongside other HR leaders and team members, this role will also assist in developing and delivering solutions tied to the organizational and department goals. This position will play a key role with HR compliance as it relates to federal, state and local laws and regulations and identifying/updating policies, training, systems, and best practices for the organization. This position will also support, performance management, employee relations, and benefits administration. How you will contribute: Supports the development of programs and/or strategies that assist HR and the organization to achieve key corporate goals. Areas of emphasis include benefits, HRIS, , employee relations, recruiting/retention, and policy development. Designs management and/or employee compliance training materials such as Anti-harassment, HIPAA, Workplace Violence Prevention, etc. Researches subjects, suggests/develops curriculum and presentations; recommends/acquires any necessary training materials. Conducts seminars/training. Executes training objectives for management and staff. Supports the implementation and communication of policies and procedures by creating and running campaigns across various departments and field offices. Researches federal, state and local laws and regulations that may cause changes to legal requirements impacting company policies and procedures and makes recommendations for changes. Supports the management of Independent Contractor requirements and applications. Assist leaders/managers to determine Independent Contractor status based on the federal and state requirements. Make recommendations for approval/denial to HR leadership. Provides support and counsel to management on progressive discipline, disciplinary actions, employee issues, and company policies and procedures. May conduct internal investigations and, if necessary, assist with outside counsel to resolve such matters. Escalates complex performance issues to Sr. HR leadership. Supports the execution of key training initiatives for both business and individual needs by facilitating training to business managers on effective coaching, counseling and corrective actions. Supports the Company’s performance management strategy and programs through training for both managers and employees, as well as maintaining our performance management system and tracking. Communicates and educates employees on benefit offerings, as well as assisting employees currently enrolled in plans. Supports various leave programs, including, but not limited to Short Term Disability, Family Medical Leave, and Workers Compensation. This involves one-on-one consultation with employees. Assists with annual open enrollment process, new hire benefits, and other benefit meetings as needed. Assist for the administration and processing of our self-funded plans including monthly billing, invoices, reconciliation, etc. as needed. Responsible for providing routine ad-hoc reports and running other miscellaneous reports through our HRIS. Helps maintain data integrity by routinely auditing and analyzing data. Investigates questionable data and takes corrective action, when necessary. Assists with recruiting as needed, including but not limited to sourcing, interviewing, extending job offers, onboarding, and orientation. Leverage emerging AI tools and automation technologies to streamline workflows, enhance operations, and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. What you will bring and skills that excite us: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 2+ years’ progressive HR experience. Experienced PC and HRIS user; Skilled in MS Office. Familiarity with emerging AI-based technologies such as Copilot, Power Automate, etc. Effectively handle/juggle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet demanding, shifting priorities and deadlines. Able to quickly develop strong, strategic, and positive working relationships across all levels and functions. High energy; self-motivated/driven. High level of accuracy and confidentiality. Excellent team player. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Strong analytical abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. PHR or SHRM-CP preferred, but not required. Skilled in LinkedIn Recruiter, other social networking sites.
