The company&rsquo;s commitment to finding new and better ways to RECLAIM, RECYCLE and REUSE bridges the sustainability goals of scrap tire generators nationwide with those of local scrap rubber consumers.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>Liberty Tire Recycling is looking for a Yard Truck Driver that is hardworking, motivated, and is a responsible individual who will be moving trailers back and forth from the parking lot to production. &nbsp;If your passion is working in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment then joining our team is the right job for you.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul class=\"decimal_type\"><li>Work in a loud, fast paced environment that works in all weather conditions.</li><li>Operate Ottawa Yard Truck in a safe manner during numerous roll-on/roll-off procedures daily involving loaded and empty containers</li><li>Responsible for completing proper paperwork involving trailer numbers, gross weights, tare weights, and net weights on the daily log sheet to include type of material</li><li>Operate and handle forklift and other equipment and tools in a safe manner</li><li>Handle loading and unloading operations in the warehouse</li><li>Check and inspect the conditions of items and materials while loading and unloading</li><li>Any other warehouse duty required by Management</li><li>Ensure compliance of all safety procedures and practices</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. 75+ lbs. with assistance.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Abilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Lift up to fifty (50) pounds (50+ requires assistance) on a routine basis and be physically capable of loading upwards of 1220 tires per day.</li><li>Must be physically capable of climbing in a trailer unassisted and in a safe manner to reduce injury.</li><li>Lace tires in a safe manner to reduce injury and maintain a secure load during transport.</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public</li><li>Ability to work independently with general instructions</li><li>Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions</li><li>Ability to make independent judgments which have a moderate impact on the company.</li><li>Physical demands of standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and repetitive motion</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must pass post-offer background, DOT physical and drug test</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>$15.00 hourly. &nbsp;Paid bi-weekly.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul><p><strong>EEO Statement:</strong></p><p>Liberty Tire Recycling is an equal opportunity employer.
