    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span>The Electrical Field Engineer will work within the Commissioning department and will report to Commissioning Manager. They will work closely with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and craftspeople to address electrical coordination issues. The Electrical Field Commissioning Engineer will lead our commissioning quality control efforts onsite by assisting contractors with startup preparation. <strong>This position will be fully at the project site in Boise, ID.</strong></span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 DOE + Incentives</strong></p><p><span><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Perform verification of electrical system installations and testing.</span></li><li><span>Ensure all systems are ready to operate in a safe manner, ensure all safety precautions are in place prior to any system being operated.</span></li><li><span>Interface between all trade managers and multiple subcontractors to assist in coordinating Mechanical/Electrical startups.</span></li><li><span>Organize and facilitate training of clients' personnel in the operations and maintenance of electrical systems and components.</span></li><li><span>Be the technical advisor at the onsite field construction office.</span></li><li><span>Other duties as assigned.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span>Position Related Skills</span></p><ul><li><span>Proficient in&nbsp;Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Teams),&nbsp;and have a general understanding of working within a computer network.</span></li><li><span>Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Project Planner (P6).</span></li><li><span>Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrate thorough understanding of all aspects of Commissioning.</span></li><li><span>Must be familiar with medium and low voltage distribution, large generators, UPS equipment, and electrical installations on large mechanical and process equipment</span></li><li><span>Training in design and construction document reading, design specifications, survey theory and techniques.</span></li><li><span>Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method. Familiar with CSI specification system for&nbsp;construction.</span></li><li><span>Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills.</span></li><li><span>Ability to work well and maintain a cooperative attitude through high-pressure situations.</span></li><li><span>Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work while frequently interrupted by phone calls and questions on work in progress.</span></li><li><span>Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships.</span></li><li><span>Ability to work closely with variety of trade and craft people in a field work situation. Patience and professionalism are essential.</span></li><li><span>Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate with various personnel within and across departments and at all levels of leadership.</span></li><li><span>Work schedule must be flexible to allow extended hours or off-shift work to accommodate changing construction schedule and sequences.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span>Professional Experience and Education</span></p><ul><li><span>A minimum of five (5) years of project commissioning management experience required.</span></li><li><span>Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is required.</span></li><li><span>High School diploma or GED required.</span></li><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience required.</span></li><li><span>Education background in materials and methods of construction.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>Physical and Mental Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is a combination of being stationary and moving about the work location.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to climb stairs: Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work in confined spaces.</span></li><li><span>Hands/Arms: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
