    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 22px\">TITLE: ICT TEACHER</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 22px\">REPORTS TO: PRINCIPAL</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a; font-size: 16px\">Primary Purpose:  </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0e101a; font-size: 16px\">An outstanding computer teacher should demonstrate flexibility and support as you help students to develop confidence in their computer skills.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0e101a; font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a; font-size: 16px\">Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and prepare well-structured, clearly presented lessons appropriate to the abilities of all students and the syllabus being taught</li>\n<li>Make sure that the classroom is a stimulating environment that facilitates learning</li>\n<li>Generate enthusiasm for the subject being taught and inspire all students to work to their potential</li>\n<li>Liaise with the Head of Department and learning support where a student may have special educational needs and with the form tutor and Head of House if a student is experiencing pastoral difficulties</li>\n<li>Promote high standards of behavior by encouraging a positive, proactive approach to study and build productive relationships with students</li>\n<li>Set homework according to policy and pertinent to the student’s ability and wider workload</li>\n<li>Promote high standards of the organization</li>\n<li>Be punctual to lessons</li>\n<li>Promote high standards in the use of English as the common language and help develop English for academic progress</li>\n<li>Provide high quality, accurate, constructive, and targeted information to parents at Parents' Evenings, in subject reports, incidental meetings and communications</li>\n<li>Assess, record, and monitor the progress of all students according to faculty guidelines in order to provide accurate information to parents in a variety of forms, as and when necessary</li>\n<li>Maintain materials and resources as needed</li>\n<li>Attending parent-teacher and faculty conferences.</li>\n<li>Observing and managing classroom dynamics.</li>\n<li>Planning lessons and activities that facilitate students' acquisition of basic and advanced computer skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0e101a; font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a; font-size: 16px\">Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline.</li>\n<li>Teaching certification for the level at which you will be instructing.</li>\n<li>Prior experience as a computer teacher.</li>\n<li>Excellent presentation abilities.</li>\n<li>Strong written and administrative skills.</li>\n<li>Nurturing, adaptable approach to instructing.</li>\n<li>Passionate about fostering computer literacy and academic excellence.</li>\n<li>Attention to detail</li>\n<li>Great presentation and communication skills</li>\n<li>Crisis management</li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills to enhance teacher performance and improve student grades</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About American Baccalaureate School:</span></p>\n<p>ABS is a private, non­-profit school offering an American-based curriculum including a wide variety of advanced courses, and a college preparatory program, guiding students to become independent, intellectual global citizens.
