Complete inspection and service reports.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong><u>Supervisory Responsibilities:</u>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">None</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong><u>Essential Job Functions:&nbsp;</u></strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Travel to customer locations to perform installation, service, and upgrades of fire alarm systems.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Respond&nbsp;to&nbsp;emergency&nbsp;situations&nbsp;during&nbsp;and&nbsp;after&nbsp;business&nbsp;hours&nbsp;to&nbsp;resolve&nbsp;safety&nbsp;concerns.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Perform&nbsp;Annual&nbsp;and&nbsp;Semi-annual&nbsp;inspection&nbsp;of&nbsp;Life&nbsp;Safety&nbsp;Systems.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Write and provide inspection/service reports on tested equipment and devices.&nbsp;Indicate any deficiencies or corrections that need to&nbsp;be&nbsp;made.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Troubleshoot and diagnose faults or malfunctions in fire alarm systems and take appropriate actions.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Perform system upgrades, modifications, and expansions as necessary.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Collaborate with customers, contractors, and other team members to ensure efficient and effective installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, inspection reports, and equipment inventory.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding fire alarm systems, including system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Stay current with industry trends, codes, regulations, and technological advancements related to fire alarm systems.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Adhere to safety guidelines and practices, both for personal safety and the safety of others.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong><u>Experience &amp; Qualifications:</u>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">High School Diploma or&nbsp;GED&nbsp;required.&nbsp;Additional&nbsp;technical certifications or training in fire alarm systems is strongly preferred.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge&nbsp;of basic electricity and the ability to read electrical schematics.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Proven&nbsp;experience working as a Fire Alarm Technician is preferred.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Willing to support training/development for entry-level candidates. Technical aptitude preferred.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Solid Knowledge of fire alarm systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and&nbsp;repair is preferred.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards, such as NFPA 72, NEC, and local fire&nbsp;codes is preferred.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Proficiency&nbsp;in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals is preferred.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Strong&nbsp;problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Excellent&nbsp;attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Strong communication&nbsp;and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ability&nbsp;to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Maintain a valid driver&#39;s license&nbsp;and ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;pass a drug and background check.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong><u>Physical Requirements:</u>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Regularly required to stand, walk, talk,&nbsp;hear&nbsp;and have full use of hands.
