We work hard to attract and retain the brightest in the business and maintain a one-of-a-kind culture that empowers our people to be who they are and do their best. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities </h2>\n<h2>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the Cage Manager at the Casino’s Cage, Countroom, and Card Control Departments.</li>\n <li>Support the Cage Manager with formulating and implementing the Cage’s policies and procedures on proper handling of cash, chips and negotiable instruments.</li>\n <li>Interact with Accounting on the audit of the Cage, Countroom and Card Control Departments.</li>\n <li>Support Cage Manager with ordering Gaming Chips when requested and Card Control Decks when needed.</li>\n <li>Participate in training and development of staff skills, utilizing coaching and mentoring</li>\n <li>Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all Gaming Laws and Guidelines.</li>\n <li>Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the Controller and VP and General Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.</p>\n<h2> </h2>\n<h2>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of effective and successful management experience in a casino and/or card room</li>\n <li>Must have good project management skills; provide strong leadership and direction, prioritize project tasks, meet project deadlines, and effectively communicate with personnel, co-workers, and subordinates.</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in a diverse range of audiences and settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Suit and the ability to adapt to additional internal applications.</li>\n <li>Must be flexible and available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li>\n <li>Must maintain confidentiality.</li>\n <li>Must be able to make change using American Monetary units.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2> </h2>\n<h2>EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A High School diploma or a General Education Degree</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>REASONING ABILITY</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to determine and shift priorities quickly</li>\n <li>Ability to examine issues both strategically and tactically</li>\n <li>Ability to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision.</li>\n <li>This position requires the ability to problem solve complex situations in an effective and efficient manner.</li>\n <li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>LANGUAGE SKILLS</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read, write, and speak in English</li>\n <li>Ability to speak a second language is preferred</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships</li>\n <li>Ability to express complex concepts in a clear manner</li>\n <li>Ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly in letters, memos and reports</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a Gardena Police Department Work Permit</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain & maintain a State of California Key Employee License.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Visual acuity (8-10 hours viewing computer) </li>\n <li>Work in an enclosed and busy area.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to safely lift a minimum of 12 pounds</li>\n <li>Must be able to concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractions</li>\n</ul>\n<h2> </h2>\n<h2>WORK ENVIRONMENT</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Adult content environment</li>\n <li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li>\n <li>24-hour operation with a very fast paced environment</li>\n <li>Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This job description is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, or requirements.
