This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Annual Salary Level II  H23B - $40,077.79 + Full State Employee Benefits Level III H23C - $43,968.62 + Full State Employee Benefits Applicants who possess a Master's Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%. On-call positions will receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities. Hours worked may include on-call, extended and/or weekend hours. Minimum Qualifications Child Welfare Specialist, Level II A bachelor's degree (in any field) to qualify; OR One year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist. Child Welfare Specialist, Level III A Master's degree; OR a Bachelors Degree plus one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist; OR Two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist. Child Safety Meetings are a collaborative decision-making process conducted to periodically address the safety needs of each custodial child.  CWS believes partnering with families in a manner that honors and respects the specific dynamics of the family unit leads to more effective interventions with families and increases child safety outcomes. Job Duties Position serves as a Family Meeting Continuum (FMC) Facilitator partnering with families in a manner that honors and respects the specific dynamics of the family unit to lead to more effective interventions with families and increase child safety outcomes.   Conducts Child Safety Meetings (CSM) to guide the decision-making process for determining the child’s safety needs and the best intervention strategy during the Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation process.   Identifies and supports the family's natural network of relatives and significant others to participate in safety planning and as placement resources, when necessary.  Develops specific individualized interventions that permit the child to remain safely in the least-intrusive, least-restrictive environment.  Explores alternative safety interventions as a contingency plan. Plans, facilitates, and documents family meetings throughout the life of the case to provide families with a consistent moderator of family information and case dynamics. All New Employees will complete the Child Welfare Core Academy Training Program Learn treatment and preventive services; Visit children in placement and conduct assessments of children and families; Refer families and children to services in the community; Participate in investigations of abuse and neglect of children, and prepare case reports and other documentation; Attends court hearings and provides testimony; Consults with the District Attorney and other attorneys, and tribal partners regarding efforts to protect the child, reunite the family or other permanent plans for the child;  Provides direct services to children in placement, And other duties as assigned. Travel is EXTENSIVE  - Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.  State vehicles will be available for use to carry out the duties of the position. style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\">Position serves as a Family Meeting Continuum (FMC) Facilitator partnering with families in a manner that honors and respects the specific dynamics Geneva, sans-serif;\">Conducts Child Safety Meetings (CSM) to guide the decision-making process for determining the child’s safety needs and the best intervention strategy during the Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation process.  </span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\">Identifies and supports the family's natural network of relatives and significant others to participate in safety planning and as placement resources, when necessary. </span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\">Develops specific individualized interventions that permit the child to remain safely in the least-intrusive, least-restrictive environment.  Explores alternative safety interventions as a contingency plan.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\">Plans, facilitates, and documents family meetings throughout the life of the case to provide families with a consistent moderator of family information and case dynamics.</span></span></li></ul><p></p><p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><b>All New Employees will complete the Child Welfare Core Academy Training Program</b></span></span></p><p></p><ul><li style=\"margin-bottom:11px;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\">Learn treatment and preventive services;</span></span></li><li style=\"margin-bottom:11px;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\">Visit children in placement and conduct assessments of children and families;</span></span></li><li style=\"margin-bottom:11px;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\">Refer families and children to services in the community;</span></span></li><li style=\"margin-bottom:11px;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\">Participate in
