    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">Notre Dame of Maryland University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions is seeking applicants for a faculty position within the Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences. This position will involve both didactic and experiential teaching responsibilities, in a practice setting to-be-determined that is best suited for the candidate (community, ambulatory, or acute care practice opportunities available).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><p><strong>Teaching and Instructional Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\">Deliver high-quality didactic and experiential instruction in assigned professional pharmacy courses, aligned with ACPE standards and the School&rsquo;s established curriculum model. Specific areas of instruction are likely to include pharmacotherapeutics, pharmacists&rsquo; skills laboratory, and fundamentals of the pharmacy profession.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop, update, and maintain course materials, assessments, and syllabi consistent with School and University academic policies. And accordingly, participate in curricular design and continuous quality improvement initiatives. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Advise and mentor student pharmacists, promoting professionalism, ethical conduct, and academic success.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Clinical Practice and Experiential Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain an active clinical pharmacy practice site that supports the integration of theory into patient-centered care. This will account for roughly 40-50% of the overall workload.&nbsp;</li><li>Precept students in accordance with School policies and accreditation expectations.&nbsp;</li><li>Serve as a role model for professional standards, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practices</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><u><strong>Experience/Requirements</strong></u>: A PharmD degree or equivalent is required. Residency experience, practice experience, and academic experience are all valued, as are additional training or credentials in broader healthcare facets.</p><p><u><strong>Skills/Aptitude</strong></u>: Excellent written &amp; verbal communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, problem solve, maintain confidentiality and work effectively as a team member. &nbsp;Must be skillful with general office equipment, Microsoft office and database management.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u><strong>Working Conditions</strong></u>: Normal office environment.
