The Canopy Café Line Cook reports to the Café Manager and works closely with other Garden staff to ensure a positive experience for our visitors.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p><p>· Assist other back-of-house staff in the preparation, production, and service of food.</p><p>· Check daily use records to ensure that estimates are filled in correctly and production is following these estimates as closely as possible.</p><p>· Assist in storing food when any deliveries arrive; date and rotate all food containers as required.</p><p>· Maintain good housekeeping in the entire kitchen, including the range, freezers, and all reach-in refrigerators.</p><p>· Support the daily operations of the Café back of the house.</p><p>· May occasionally assist front-of-house staff by taking food and beverage orders and processing payments.</p><p>· Communicate effectively and possess a polite and pleasant demeanor.</p><p>· Prepare orders with high attention to detail while being attentive to customer requests.</p><p>· Assist Café Manager as needed with internal events, community events, group tours, etc.</p><p>· Perform other duties as assigned to support Garden operations.</p>",
