    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>SUMMARY&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The <strong>Director of Construction Technology</strong> is a leadership role for innovative technology and provides strategic planning, direction, and overall execution of applications and technologies with the focus on construction operations. The Director of Construction Technology will be based in Minneapolis and will champion the integration of digital technologies utilized in construction to augment operational efficiency and introduce innovative solutions catering to a broad user base. This role partners with company leadership, business service groups, and operating groups to ensure construction technologies are implemented &amp; used in a manner that benefits the company.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Proactively work with stakeholders to establish &amp; execute the digital technology strategy &amp; roadmap for construction lifecycle, and effectively communicate it to leadership and non-technical team members</li><li>Build trusted partner relationships with Construction Operational leaders to drive value through technology to enable their objectives</li><li>Serve as the subject matter expert for strategic input on construction digital technologies, initiatives and programs</li><li>Partner with relevant Service Groups, Operating Groups, and Business Service Groups to provide program and project level oversight for all construction digital technology initiatives, ensuring that work adheres to the strategy and roadmap</li><li>Evaluate and determine return on technology investments both financially and through user experience</li><li>Partner with relevant technology owners to drive adoption within Construction Operating groups, and ensure the value realization to bring efficiency to construction projects</li><li>Build collaboration across ITS teams and Business to facilitate continuous improvement of technology solutions and processes</li><li>Manage risks, resource allocation, project prioritization, and research &amp; recommend new technologies &amp; services</li><li>Effectively build relationships with stakeholders, and influence their technology adoption</li><li>Lead, mentor, and manage team, and foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and improvement within the team</li><li>Effectively manage IT technology partners to ensure their services and build relationships with them to influence their product roadmap to better support our process &amp; needs</li><li>Develop, manage, allocate and govern the annual budget</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s&nbsp;degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration, or related field</li><li>Experience in developing organization’s technology strategy with roadmap, together with execution</li><li>10 or more years of leadership experience in information technology</li><li>Experience managing and planning a complex operating budget</li><li>Experience of construction technology is highly preferred</li><li>Experience of Enterprise (or Application) Architecture</li><li>Ability to travel to construction job sites as needed</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>A few benefits offered include:&nbsp;</strong></p><p><i>(for Non-Craft &amp; Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)</i></p><ul><li>Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage&nbsp;</li><li>Dental plan&nbsp;</li><li>401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match</li><li>Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves&nbsp;</li><li>Employer paid Life, AD&amp;D, and disability insurance&nbsp;</li><li>No-Cost mental health tool and concierge&nbsp;with extensive work-life resources</li><li>Tuition reimbursement&nbsp;</li><li>Adoption Assistance&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Gym Membership Discount Program&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>The base pay range for this role is $170,200 MIN - $255,400.</strong>&nbsp;(Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).</p><p>Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.&nbsp; This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.</p><p>#LI-PM1&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Please make note:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.</li><li>.Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ABOUT MORTENSON</strong></p><p>As a top builder, developer, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), our expertise spans markets like sports, renewable energy, data centers, healthcare, and more.
