    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Title</strong>: Shift Supervisor</p><p><strong>Department</strong>: Manufacturing</p><p><strong>Position Description</strong>: Manufacturing supervisory position with responsibility focused upon the supervision and development of manufacturing associates.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Functions:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>-Directly supervise manufacturing department maintaining company standards and safety rules.</p><p>-Communicate daily priorities and activities to manufacturing team.</p><p>-Interpret company policy for associates.</p><p>-Control plant logistics cost by appropriate use of freight carrier</p><p>-Coordinate shift efforts to optimize workflow and associate potential.</p><p>-Improve stand operation work and system practices.</p><p>-Support the Clarion TS16949 or related required applicable standards.</p><p>-Update daily production tracking system, making sure data is correct and closed.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Additional Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>-Assign daily work tasks for manufacturing associates, ensuring proper job rotation.</p><p>-Initiate First Piece Approval activities.</p><p>-Respond to and resolve associate questions, concerns, and improvement suggestions.</p><p>-Identify equipment improvements/repairs and initiate work orders.</p><p>-Ensure proper packaging and supplies are available for associates use.</p><p>-Assist associates with daily functions, running a press and assisting R/Os.</p><p>-Complete and issue employee reviews.</p><p>-Lead shift to shift hand-off and communication.</p><p>-Update customer service as problems affects customer needs.</p><p>-Participate and lead, as needed internal problem solving/improvement activities.</p><p>-Other duties as assigned by management.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Other Requirements</strong>:&nbsp;</p><p>-Associate&rsquo;s degree or one year of experience or training in a related field</p><p>-Ability to apply common computer skills, includes Microsoft Excel and Outlook.</p><p>-Must be able to effectively lead others.</p><p>-Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.</p><p>-Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operating instructions, and system docs.</p><p>-Perform basic math functions &ndash; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.</p><p>-Ability to actively participate in problem solving activities.</p><p>-Moderate to heavy physical activity including walking, pushing/pulling, and lifting.</p><p>-Must be willing to support overtime during the week and weekends.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Key Interfaces</strong></p><p><strong>Internal:</strong></p><p>-All Clarion associates</p><p>-Clarion Corporate manufacturing support</p><p><strong>External:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>-Clarion&rsquo;s customers</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Measure Accountability</strong>:&nbsp;</p><p>-Safety</p><p>-Quality</p><p>-Company/Plant Measurables</p><p>-Problem solving</p><p>-Teamwork/Interpersonal skills</p><p>-Judgement/Decision making</p><p><br></p></div>\n",
