This role serves as a critical quality gate within regulated manufacturing environments supporting Aerospace, Defense, Medical, and Semiconductor customers.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Under general supervision, the Quality Inspector is responsible for:</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performing inspection and documentation tasks to ensure integrity of product and components.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Issuing Certificates of Conformance (C of C) as required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Interpret drawings, standards, procedures, test data, and documenting results</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Utilizing inspection tools such as CMM, Keyence, calipers, micrometers, and templates.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Documenting and escalating to respective departments when product is non-conforming.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Document results of inspections using first Article Report AS9102, Fralock Dimensional Report, copies of CMM report or written results in the job order</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Updating and maintaining Master Calibration List, including performing calibration of inspection tools and coordinating with outside calibration as applicable.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p></p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated knowledge in blueprint reading and geometrical tolerances.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong knowledge in using hand-help inspection tools and templates.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to apply a general understanding to carry out detailed, written, and oral instructions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to deal with and solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing methods and related systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Working knowledge of ERP software, MRP, Scheduling and Planning systems, MS Office&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.75in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prior experience with CMM inspection and Statistical Process Control (SPC).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prior experience with ISO 9001 Standards and AS9102</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Education Requirements</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 17px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High School Degree or General Education Degree; or 2-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sitting/Walking/Standing</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum 25 lb. lifting requirement</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to ascend/descend stairs while carrying acceptable loads</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Climate controlled office and production environment.</li></ul><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Safety-toed shoes required and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as needed.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">All offers of employment at Fralock are contingent upon clear results of a background check.
