This position also includes responsibility for resident counseling and all other essential services required in the treatment process.</p><p><br></p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Responsible for carrying a resident caseload.</li><li>&nbsp;Assists the Clinical Coordinator with the development of other clinical staff members.</li><li>&nbsp;Completes clinical documentation, reporting and record keeping.</li><li>&nbsp;Assists with monitoring of clinical documentation and utilization review processes as assigned.</li><li>&nbsp;Provides substance use screening, intake, orientation and assessment as necessary.</li><li>&nbsp;Provides substance use diagnostic impression as determined by LOCADTR.</li><li>&nbsp;Provides treatment planning, individual and group counseling, family counseling services, psycho-education and case management services.</li><li>&nbsp;Facilitates counseling sessions and groups with residents, couples, and family members.</li><li>&nbsp;Provides crisis intervention, education and referral to residents and family members.</li><li>&nbsp;Oversees regular consultation with other providers, legal agencies, managed care providers and other needed services; as well as oversight of staff completion within this area.</li><li>&nbsp;Conducts discharge planning and care coordination as needed.</li><li>&nbsp;Makes referrals, coordinates services and maintains regular ongoing consultations with other providers, managed care organizations, legal agencies, etc.</li><li>&nbsp;Ensures that all individualized vocational/educational goals are developed for all residents.</li><li>&nbsp;Facilitates didactic/treatment phases and process groups.</li><li>&nbsp;Provides oversight and completes documentation as per agency requirements.</li><li>&nbsp;Participates in weekly supervision sessions.</li><li>&nbsp;Collaborates with other clinical and medical staff members in advocating for residents during Medicaid managed care and insurance company reviews.</li><li>&nbsp;Oversees the compliance of all program activities with agency policy and procedure, as well as the requirements of all regulatory authorities.</li><li>&nbsp;Assists with oversight of the program site medication policy and procedures.</li><li>&nbsp;Conducts breathalyzer and toxicology screening as necessary.</li><li>&nbsp;Assists with transportation as needed.</li><li>&nbsp;Is available for on-call responsibilities.</li><li>&nbsp;Is available for 24-hour coverage when needed.</li><li>&nbsp;Participates in weekly staff meetings and case conference.</li><li>&nbsp;Facilitates the resident government’s enforcement of program rules and regulations.</li><li>&nbsp;Takes precautionary measures to limit transmission of communicable diseases (i.e., HIV, Hepatitis B, TB etc.).</li><li>&nbsp;Serves on agency committees as requested.</li><li>&nbsp;Carries out additional duties essential to the above-stated responsibilities as assigned.</li><li>&nbsp;Is mindful of and integrates Trauma-Informed Care and its five principles in all duties and interactions with fellow staff, residents, and external partners.</li><li>&nbsp;Maintains compliance with all required rules and regulations including Federal Confidentiality (42 CFR, Part 2), HIPAA, Medicaid and/or HUD, and any others.</li><li>&nbsp;Regular attendance at work location.</li><li>&nbsp;Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</li><li>&nbsp;Other duties may be assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p>",
