The Superintendent reports directly to the General Superintendent and works closely with the Project Management staff on all aspects of the project.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 11.5pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 11.5pt\">The Central Arkansas Team at Baldwin &amp; Shell handles general commercial construction, construction management, and design-build delivery projects of all sizes throughout central Arkansas.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Direct and supervise all job site activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Keep track of project progress and budgets.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Supervise staff, provide work direction and constructive feedback.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Resolve on-site issues and emergencies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Follow and enforce established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean jobsite.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Complete projects on time and on budget.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">High school diploma or equivalent.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">At least five (5) years of commercial construction experience as a Superintendent on $5M to $30M projects required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Knowledge and understanding of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Have an in-depth understanding of construction operations and processes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Must be self-driven, motivated and possess the ability to work effectively and independently.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Must possess strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to perform under pressure.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Must be available to work overtime, possibly including weekends as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Pursuant to the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to Baldwin &amp; Shell standards and processes.</span></em></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of the employee's activities, duties, or responsibilities required for this job.
