    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We&rsquo;re looking for a mid to senior level Oracle Apps DBA with MSSQL experience to own day-to-day database operations, performance tuning, high availability, and security across our Oracle, EBS and SQL Server environments. You&rsquo;ll collaborate closely with application teams, DevOps, and InfoSec to ensure our data platforms are reliable, performant, and scalable.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do (Key Responsibilities)</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Administration &amp; Operations</strong><ul type=\"circle\"><li>Install, configure, patch and maintain Oracle EBS installations</li><li>Participate in database and EBS upgrades</li><li>Migrate databases and EBS installations from on-prem to cloud</li><li>Configuration of TLS/SSL protocol for EBS 12.1.3 and 12.2.x environments</li></ul></li><li><strong>Performance &amp; Optimization</strong><ul type=\"circle\"><li>Monitor and tune performance of databases (indexes, stats, query plans, I/O, memory, CPU).</li><li>Tune EBS environments to improve performance</li><li>Conduct root cause analyses and implement permanent fixes.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Backup, Recovery &amp; HA/DR+</strong></li><li>Design and maintain backup/restore strategies (native backups, compression, encryption).</li><li>Implement and support backup strategies for core database and EBS</li><li>Test and document disaster recovery procedures with defined RPO/RTO</li><li>Participate in DR exercises for EBS and database</li><li><strong>Automation &amp; Observability</strong></li><li>Automate routine tasks with PowerShell, Bash,and scripts.</li><li>Maintain monitoring and alerting for capacity, performance, and availability.</li><li>Produce runbooks, documentation, and knowledge base articles.</li><li><strong>Data Governance &amp; Compliance</strong></li><li>Implement encryption at rest/in transit, data masking, and retention policies.</li><li>Support audits and compliance (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, PCI) where applicable.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications (Required)</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>4-7 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Apps DBA in production environments.</li><li>Sound knowledge of Oracle EBS 12.2 Architecture, online patching tool ADOP and changes between 12.1.3 and 12.2.x</li><li>Experience in Oracle WebLogic Admin/managed sever memory configuration and tuning</li><li>Experience in Oracle WebLogic and EBS 12.2 ADOP patching techniques</li><li>Experience working with Oracle cloud infrastructure virtual private networks, compute services, block storage and object storage services</li><li>Experience in Deploying multiple applications on WebLogic server and maintained load balancing, high availability and fail over functionality</li><li>Experience working with Oracle/AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure Virtual machine database systems</li><li>Experience in Oracle cloud infrastructure Virtual machine EBS database systems for 11g/12c/19c</li><li>Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking basics (DNS, TCP/IP).</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (native + third-party).</li><li>Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Nice-to-Have (Preferred)</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience with/exposure to Oracle Dataguard, Oracle Goldengate, Engineered Systems</li><li>Experience with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS (or modern equivalents).</li><li>MSSQL database administration</li><li>Knowledge of ETL/ELT patterns, data warehousing, or BI tooling.</li><li>Experience with DevOps/CI-CD for databases (Git, pipelines, Redgate, SSDT).</li><li>Scripting in Python or Bash, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/ARM).</li><li>Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, DP-300, or MCSA/MCSE (legacy).</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Education</strong></p><p>&bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Work Eligibility</strong></p><p>&bull; Must be authorized to work in the United States (Permanent Resident/US Citizen) and participate in shift rotation</p>\n",
