    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>The Patient Care Tech performs patient care activates within the limits of the position.</p><p><strong>POSITION&rsquo;S ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.</li><li>Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.</li><li>Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and phlebotomy procedures as required.</li><li>Assist with patient mobility, including repositioning, transferring, and ambulation.</li><li>Provide basic medical care, such as changing dressings and applying prescribed treatments.</li><li>Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.</li><li>Support patients with toileting needs and maintain personal hygiene.</li><li>Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals about patient conditions and concerns.</li><li>Assist in the collection of medical specimens for testing.</li><li>Observe and report changes in a patient&rsquo;s physical, mental, and emotional health.</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.</li><li>Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure or stress.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and possess good oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles.</li><li>Strong assessment, organizational and problem - solving skills as evidenced by capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and role components.</li><li>Ability to function independently and exercise judgment in interactions with physicians, interprofessional care team and patients and their families.&nbsp;</li><li>Uses critical thinking skills and clinical judgment to work autonomously as defined by the Nurse Practice Act.</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to establish priorities among the essential functions of the job and coordinate these functions with others.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to speak, read, and write the English language.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Graduation from high school or possession of a GED Certificate.</li><li>Current and active CPR certification.</li></ul><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
