    "description": "<h2>Salary Details</h2>The salary range for this position is CAD $59.59/Hr. - CAD $85.65/Hr.\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Come work as a Manager, Clinical Operations – MHSU with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Clinical Operations Manager to join the Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) team in Vancouver. Reporting to the VCH Operations Director on the Vancouver Community team, this specific Clinical Operations Manager role will be responsible for supporting a unique Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program operating in Vancouver.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The successful applicant should come with strong leadership skills and experience in team design and development, as well as a background in leading clinical teams, change management, and budget oversight. A focus will be on applicants who demonstrate experience partnering with our key service stakeholders of Policing, Corrections, and Justice to help shape service design and delivery to this unique ACT population with co-occurring health and criminogenic factors.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>As a Manager, Clinical Operations with VCH you will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide clinical and operational leadership to frontline interdisciplinary clinical care teams in a health program that directly supervises, at a minimum, Nurses at the Level 4 or 5 classification/wage rate.</li>\n <li>Be responsible for delivering services through a team of clinical and partner agency staff in an outreach focused, community-based setting.</li>\n <li>Provide leadership and direction for operations management, planning, implementation and evaluation of services and activities related to utilization and risk management, and quality improvement of the clinical program/department.</li>\n <li>Play a critical role addressing the ongoing issues/needs of clients and their families while supporting client transitions in their continuum of care, including acute, tertiary, ACT, and other community health care environments.</li>\n <li>Support in service model development, planning, implementation, and management of an ACT team, working as a team player with colleagues and co-workers and in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve excellence in client and family centred care, education and research.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This work is framed within VCH’s commitments to our pillars of Indigenous Cultural Safety, Anti-Racism, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and Planetary Health.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education & Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Baccalaureate (Masters preferred) in a relevant clinical professional area with seven (7) to ten (10) year's recent, related clinical and progressive leadership experience, including direct supervisory experience.</li>\n <li>Current registration/membership with a recognized professional association.</li>\n <li>Basic computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet and/or database programs and ability to utilize a computerized patient care information system required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge & Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop, manage and evaluate clinical programs considering client needs, service delivery interrelationships and service potential within a complex environment.</li>\n <li>Develops and maintains strong relationships with key internal and external partners to promote and enhance services provided with sensitivity to diversity and indigenous lens.</li>\n <li>Practices the recognition, inclusion and support of all types and aspects of diversity at all stages of engagement, with an understanding of the issues faced by people from equity-deserving groups.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to understand available resources for program/department and keeps quality in the forefront of all resource utilization decisions; provides feedback and detailed analysis on budget variances and makes recommendations for corrective action.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to facilitate, collaborate and negotiate for effective resolution of human resource issues.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative working relationships to support the professional practice and ongoing development of staff.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to promote development of clinical research opportunities to ensure evidence-based practice within an interdisciplinary team-based environment.</li>\n <li>Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Closing Statement</h2>\n<p>DO NOT POST - CONTACT [email protected] per Ministry of Health policy, all health care workers working in publicly-funded health care facilities are required to report their past receipt of certain vaccines or history of certain infections.
