This is accomplished by travelling throughout the shop and working closely with the machine operators, supervisors, and plant manager to assure that the customer quality requirements are met.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:</span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Promote and support the requirements and principles of the Precise Quality Management System and AS9100.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Auditing of all jobs currently running on the shop floor to assure that all IPR`s and QCR`s are completed by the machinists as required per the job traveler and customer requirements.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">The ability to assist the machinist with the measurement of parts per the QCR and IPR.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Understanding of measurement equipment used to verify parts are meeting the quality requirements / drawings.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to run pre-programmed parts on the CMM for auditing purposes.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">High level of integrity to be the &ldquo;voice of the customer&rdquo;.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Visual inspection of machined parts to customer requirements (deburred properly).</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Communicate with all departments pertaining to quality issues.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>&nbsp;KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Basic understanding of the AS9100D Quality Management System.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Attention to detail is required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Basic blueprint reading and understanding of work instructions per job requirements.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Use of standard Quality measurement tools such as calipers, micrometer, and dial indicators.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Communication skills are of an up most importance.
