    "description": "<p><span style=\"display:block; font-size:16px\"><strong>Full Time Position - 29544</strong></span></p>\n\n<p><strong>GENERAL PURPOSE:</strong><br />\nCertified Medical Assistants are multi-skilled healthcare professionals who provide clinical and administrative support to providers, ensuring efficient patient flow and quality patient care within the medical clinic.</p>\n\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain/document vital signs in the EHR</li>\n\t<li>Schedule referrals and maintain referral tracking</li>\n\t<li>Collect and process laboratory specimens</li>\n\t<li>Assist providers with patient care, medications, immunizations, and injections</li>\n\t<li>Enter orders, update care plans, and maintain accurate EHR documentation</li>\n\t<li>Prepare and stock exam rooms and sterilize instruments and equipment</li>\n\t<li>Provide patient education as directed by clinicians</li>\n\t<li>Support infection control and clinic safety procedures</li>\n\t<li>Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities</li>\n\t<li>Communicate professionally with patients, staff, and the public</li>\n\t<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>High School Diploma or GED required</li>\n\t<li>Completion of a Medical Assistant Training Program required</li>\n\t<li>Current Medical Assistant Certification required</li>\n\t<li>Current CPR certification required</li>\n\t<li>Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills</li>\n\t<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment</li>\n\t<li>Familiarity with outpatient clinic procedures preferred</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT &amp; REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and push up to 100 lbs.</li>\n\t<li>Frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive hand movements</li>\n\t<li>Adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity required</li>\n\t<li>Exposure to Aerosol Transmitted Diseases (ATD) and Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) may occur</li>\n</ul>\n",
