From leading fun activities to offering a listening ear and helping with daily routines, you'll be a trusted presence who helps young people learn, grow, and thrive every day.</em></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position:</strong> Program Coordinator</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>General Purpose:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Under the supervision of the Club Leader, the Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and operating programming within a specific Club. Works directly with groups of up to 20 Members, following the school day.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Implements daily challenges and learning activities on a daily basis.</p><p><br></p><p>Executes targeted enrichment programs that support English Language Learners, positive relationship building, problem-solving and social-emotional development.</p><p><br></p><p>Delivers programs and activities in the following five core areas: Academic Success, The Arts, Leadership &amp; Service, Sports, and Health &amp; Wellness.</p><p><br></p><p>Establishes a strong relationship with school teachers.</p><p><br></p><p>Fosters strong relationships with Members through:</p><p><br></p><p>Role modeling and group management.</p><p><br></p><p>Creating an environment that facilitates achievement.</p><p><br></p><p>Maintaining enthusiasm and a positive attitude with youth and within the Club community.</p><p><br></p><p>Conveying warmth, care &amp; proper guidance in ongoing interactions with Members.?</p><p><br></p><p>Consistent attendance to create stability for Club Members</p><p><br></p><p>Maintains a safe, clean, appealing environment and ensures Member safety through proper supervision.?</p><p><br></p><p>Utilizes trauma-informed behavior management tools to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all Members.</p><p><br></p><p>Actively participates in daily and weekly Club communication with co-workers, supervisors, volunteers and parents in regard to Member behavior and achievements</p><p><br></p><p>Encourages Members to take responsibility for their good behavior and reinforces high behavior expectations at all times.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Education and/or Expertise:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>4+ ECE units, preferred</p><p><br></p><p>High School diploma (or higher)</p><p><br></p><p>Age 18 or older</p><p><br></p><p>Prior experience in an early childhood setting, preferred.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Computer &amp; Equipment Skills:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Microsoft Office preferred</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>",
